A REVOLUTIONARY 200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Yoga Alliance Certified • Hybrid Curriculum • Accessible • Scholarships Available
Course Overview
Our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed to illuminate the ideas we hear about spiritual growth and diving deeper into our self through ancient yogic wisdom. We use various asana (yoga postures), experiential philosophy and self-inquiry through journal prompts to train teachers of Yoga; not just a teachers of postures.
Joining our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vancouver means becoming part of a yoga community that will support you well beyond the short 200-hours of the training. We understand that the training is just the beginning of your journey and we do our best to support you wherever it takes you. To that end, we offer ongoing continuing education, in-studio teaching opportunities and teaching support.
This is so much more than a yoga teacher training. It is life training, warrior training; a training of transformation. Our TT offers you the space to rediscover the beauty and love that define who you really are: strong, beautiful, powerful, and a unique manifestation of the source of all things.
Students can expect to learn the history of yoga and an in-depth understanding of yogic teachings, as well as a thorough, grounded practice and theory in the physical postures of yoga. We explore the use of meditation, mantra and pranayama in your personal practice, as well as in your teaching.
This training is inspired by the Karma Yoga lineage of transcending one’s actions and is dedicated to the transformational power of selfless service. These life-changing teachings will alter the way you experience and teach asana, anatomy, alignment and sequencing, and will prepare you to be a powerful teacher, ready to serve and empower others.

Our Teacher Training Faculty
Jennifer Clarke E-RYT 500 - Co-Lead 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainer
Jennifer Clarke ERYT-500, I started practicing yoga in the 90s and since then it has been a daily part of my life. Yoga practice has helped me stay embodied during challenges of life. It is a self care tool that supports me to be responsive to life, uphold my boundaries, respect the boundaries of others, show up, and flow through my life. I can absolutely say that my yoga practice has helped me become a better parent. I have been teaching weekly classes since 2006 and I am so grateful to my students all these years, some of whom I've had the honour of teaching since the beginning of my career.
My formal yoga training includes 200hr Yogaworks Teacher Training, a 300hr Teacher Training with Open Source Yoga, Anatomy and Physiology at Langara College, 100 hour Ashtanga Teacher Training with Fiona Stang, and 1000’s of hours of training, courses and workshops with excellent local teachers and master teachers from abroad. I completed a 1,000 hour Qigong Practitioner and Masters level training program with Empty Mountain.
I am an Expressive Movement Facilitator, (soon to be a Registered Somatic Educator). I have completed a 3-year studio based contemporary dance training, two years of dance at University of Calgary and have been dancing and performing for over 20 years in Canada and parts of Europe. I also have a BA in Literature. I’ve dedicated my life to the study of movement, yoga, dance, meditation, spirituality, energetic healing and qigong.
Daniel Clement E-RYT 500 - Co-Lead 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainer
Daniel has been practicing an teaching forms of hatha yoga since the mid-1990’s. His original training was in the Ashtanga Vinyasa form and from there he developed an interest in more therapeutic forms of alignment-based yoga, including Iyengar and Anusara Yoga.
Daniel has been teaching 200hr and 300hr yoga teacher trainings since 2006 in China, Japan and Canada, leading over 90 trainings and graduating over 1,000 teachers. His focus is to encourage critical thinking and the teaching of safe and effective postural yoga within his own trainings. Manual therapy including Thai Yoga Massage techniques provide a sound basis for addressing injuries and physical complaints.
Yoga to Daniel is inquiry. Yoga is the engagement of reason, compassion and physicality toward knowledge of what it means to be conscious and to be happy.
Delia Brett E-RYT 500 - Co-Lead 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainer
I am the current studio owner of Green Room Yoga, an experienced registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance, Yoga Shred Certified Teacher, Certified Energy Codes Facilitator and Transformational Coach. I have been teaching yoga since 2003 and teaching at Green Room Yoga since it moved out of Alix Rodrigues’ living room and onto Hastings Street in 2008.
My personal journey with yoga began about 26 years ago but the unique approach I bring to my classes today, actually began long before that. Like you, I am a fusion of many voices, teachers, practices and influences. Chief among these influences has been dance – more specifically, Contact Dance – a form of improvised dance that foregrounds an embodied, moment to moment experience of the natural laws of physics. It is this form, which I have been practicing, performing and teaching for over 35 years, that has informed my yoga the most. But to give credit where credit is due, it wasn’t until I began to study the work of revolutionary anatomists, Thomas Myers & Gil Hedley and yoga innovator, Sadie Nardini over a decade ago that I was able to develop the model and language I needed to effectively communicate this felt understanding of physics to others.
After 21 years of teaching yoga, I think it’s fair to say my practice has shifted. These days, I am more inspired to guide awareness through movement, stillness and breath back to the elemental spark of joy – the spirit of play and experimentation. Because I believe that when we cultivate an inner posture (asana) of curiosity and wonder in our bodies we don’t just dissolve stress, we learn to become intimate with ourselves again and in doing so, we bring upliftment and healing to our increasingly complex world.
Megha Ghai RYT 500 - Co-Lead 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainer
Megha’s journey into yoga in this lifetime began in the trying times of covid, nurtured by the mystical atmosphere and profound teachings of her homeland. She felt called to delve deeper into the realms of holistic healing and self-discovery. Inspired by her own transformative experiences with yoga and meditation, she made the courageous decision to leave behind her career in dentistry to dedicate her life to the practice and propagation of yoga.
Soon after she moved to Canada in early 2022, she has been teaching YTTC with Karma Teachers and hosting women’s support circles in Vancouver. Megha’s approach to yoga is steeped in the classical traditions of Hatha yog, with a keen understanding of anatomy and physiology, she guides her students with precision and care fostering a deep awareness of alignment and inner balance.
She is also a disciplined Vipassana meditator, drawing upon her own insights from dhyana, she infuses her yoga teachings with principles of mindfulness and introspection, empowering her students to cultivate inner awareness and insight on their spiritual journey. Megha's classes are a sacred space for self-exploration.
